Opposition representatives in Israel met following parliamentary elections to discuss the possibility of uniting to form a new government. Yair Golan, who leads the liberal left party called the Democrats, held a meeting with Gadi Eisenkot. Golan noted that Eisenkot is the primary opponent of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
