Satellite monitoring from INTA compared data from September and October 2026 in Corrientes. The province saw an increase of nearly 69,100 hectares of open water. This represents a 53.4% increase in water-covered surface area. In the Paraná flood valley, the surveyed area grew by 20.8%.
Un monitoreo satelital del INTA comparó septiembre y octubre de 2026 y registró casi 69.100 hectáreas adicionales con agua libre (área cubierta) en la provincia; en el conjunto del valle de inundación del Paraná la superficie relevada creció un 20,8%
