On May 23, 2021 a Ryanair flight bound for Vilnius was forced to land in Minsk. Belarusian authorities arrested passenger Ramana Pratasevicius and his companion Sofija Sapega at the airport. Five years later Sapega spoke to the newspaper Zerkalas and gave her account of the incident. She said she had been staying in a detention facility at the time. She claimed that Pratasevicius spent the period playing computer games. She also mentioned that he had married several times.
