Hammarby took the lead against Sirius through a penalty kick during an Allsvenskan league final. The referee, Glenn Nyberg, later admitted that the penalty was a mistake. Sirius captain Henrik Castegren expressed his frustration regarding the decision. He stated that the team should be able to expect more from the officiating. He specifically mentioned that the referee should be among the best in the country.
