Stačí tableta denně. První pacienti dostali nový lék, který krotí nádor mozku
Patients in the Czech Republic are among the first in Europe to receive insurance coverage for a new brain tumor treatment. The medication consists of a pill taken once a day. This treatment can stop the growth of the tumor. It offers patients the possibility of living a normal life for many years. Aleksi Šedo, director of the National Institute for Cancer Research, described the drug as a breakthrough. He noted that it only works for a specific type of tumor.
