SEG Solar is investing 950 million dollars into a heterojunction solar cell factory. The facility will be located at the Tomball campus in Texas. It is designed with a 4-GW capacity. Operations are planned to begin in phases during 2028 and 2029. The project is expected to create more than 700 jobs.
