A sailor has joined a mission with Emergency to help people crossing the sea. He describes rescuing those who risk the ocean to find a future. He admitted he was unaware of the operational difficulties involved. He noted that while satellite systems are used for alarms, there is a risk of being accused of aiding illegal immigration.
