The United Nations Security Council is scheduled to vote on October 30 regarding a US-proposed resolution. The matter concerns Western Sahara and the renewal of the MINURSO mandate. Russia, China, and Pakistan may choose to abstain from the vote. This would follow their previous actions during the vote on resolution 2797 on October 31, 2025.
