South Africa is currently in discussions with Starlink, a company owned by Elon Musk. The United States ambassador has intervened in these talks. South Africa maintains that the foreign company must follow the national rules to do business in the country. The ambassador has suggested that these demands are unreasonable.
South Africa is having a conversation with Elon Musk's Starlink. And judging by the intervention of the United States ambassador, we are apparently being unreasonable for insisting that a foreign company play by the rules of the country in which it wants to do business.
