Donald and Melania Trump hosted a Halloween celebration on the South Lawn of the White House on Thursday. Over six thousand children visited the president and first lady to trick or treat. Some children arrived dressed as soldiers, while others wore costumes like Barbie or Spider-Man. Air Force One flew over the White House during the festivities. Pete Hegseth, the minister of war, was also present. Unlike the children, he did not wear a costume.
