The Shah Alam High Court ruled that Joint Management Bodies cannot impose unconditional bans on pets in private residential units. This decision came after a former Olympic athlete won a legal case regarding the keeping of three cats. The court found that such bans cannot be enforced through internal house rules.
SHAH ALAM: Mahkamah Tinggi Shah Alam hari ini memutuskan Badan Pengurusan Bersama (JMB) tidak boleh mengenakan larangan tanpa syarat terhadap pemeliharaan haiwan peliharaan di unit kediaman persendirian menerusi peraturan dalaman.
