President Bajram Begaj started meetings with parliamentary party representatives to set a date for the 2027 local elections. The first meeting took place at the Brigades Palace with Taulant Balla, the head of the Socialist Party's parliamentary group. Balla arrived for the meeting around 09:00. The Democratic Party refused the invitation to participate in these consultations.
