The Maritime Crane Operators Union held a peaceful protest today at the main entrance of the Port of Koper. This event was part of a global Action day. Participants warned about the harmful effects of automation and the declining competitiveness of European ports. They also expressed concern over the increasing transport of weapons, which they say leads to the militarization of ports.
Pred glavnim vhodom v Luko Koper je danes v sklopu globalne akcije Action day potekal miren protest Sindikata žerjavistov pomorskih dejavnosti (SŽPD). Zbrani so med drugim opozorili na škodljive posledice avtomatizacije in padec konkurenčnosti evropskih pristanišč. Moti jih tudi vse večji pretovor orožja, ki da povzroča militarizacijo pristanišč.
