Defense Minister Nikos Dendias traveled to Lorient, France, on October 30, 2026. He met with the French Minister of the Armed Forces, Catherine Vautrin. This meeting took place before the ceremony to raise the Greek flag on the Nearchos, which is the second FDI HN type frigate. The two officials focused their discussions on the defense cooperation between Greece and France.
