Burkina/Santé oculaire : 40 spécialistes en formation sur la prise en charge du strabisme
The Burkinabè Society of Ophthalmology opened a training course on managing strabismus on 30 October 2026. The inauguration took place at the University Hospital Centre in Bogodogo, Ouagadougou. Funding for the program comes from the NGO Light for the World. Forty participants are attending, including practising ophthalmologists and fourth‑year ophthalmology residents pursuing a specialist diploma. The course is scheduled to run until 3 November 2026. Organisers aim to improve regional capacity for treating eye‑alignment disorders.
La Société burkinabè d'ophtalmologie (SBO) a lancé, ce vendredi 30 octobre 2026, une session de formation sur la prise en charge du strabisme. La cérémonie d'ouverture s'est tenue au Centre hospitalier universitaire (CHU) de Bogodogo, à Ouagadougou. Financée par l'ONG Light for the World, cette formation réunit 40 participants, dont des ophtalmologistes et des médecins en quatrième année du Diplôme d'études spécialisées (DES) en ophtalmologie.
