Police from the Vrgorac border station took action after a video was published. The video showed a former SDP member using a meat mallet to destroy a crucifix while filming the act. An indictment was filed against the man, named Vujica, at the Municipal Court in Metković. Judge Stanka Obradović handled the case through an urgent misdemeanor proceeding. The judge ordered the man to pay a fine of 200 euros.
