OUR CANDIDATE WAS OFFERED INCENTIVES BY THE UPND TO WITHDRAW – TONSE ALLIANCE
Muhabi Lungu, the Secretary General of the Tonse-Pamodzi Alliance, has asked the Electoral Commission of Zambia to cancel the Mandevu Parliamentary by-election. This request follows the withdrawal of three candidates. Lungu claims that the UPND offered incentives to their candidate to encourage this withdrawal. He believes cancelling the election will allow parties to properly identify candidates.
