Upcoming elections for the US Congress may lead to a decrease in the number of people supporting the Baltic states. While the overall support group is not expected to change drastically, some members of Congress are leaving Washington. These individuals had previously been active supporters of Baltic interests.
ASV Kongresa vēlēšanas, kas gaidāmas jau pēc dažām dienām, visticamāk, nesīs pārmaiņas Baltijas atbalsta grupā. Vairāki kongresmeņi, kuri līdz šim aktīvi atbalstīja Baltijas intereses, nolēmuši neturpināt darbu Vašingtonā.
