Sali Berisha, the leader of the Democratic Party, stated that his party supports student protests. He clarified that while they have supported the movement from the start, they are not the organizers. Berisha noted that the Democratic Party has been protesting since June 1. He mentioned that the previous summer saw the largest citizen protest in history.
