Spain became the first U15 world champion in history after defeating the Czech Republic in Bakou. The tournament featured 189 nations in a new format. Guinea achieved the best result for Africa by finishing sixth globally. Burundi finished 104th overall and eighth in its division after winning two matches in a single day.

Dans un Mondial à 189 nations au format inédit, la Guinée a signé la meilleure performance africaine avec une 6ème place mondiale. Le Burundi, lui, termine 104ème mondial et 8ème de sa division après une épopée marquée par deux victoires héroïques en une journée.
