Apple has overtaken Nvidia to become the most valuable listed company in the world, a position it has held since Friday. The change at the top came about because Nvidia's share price fell sharply. That drop followed poor quarterly figures published by Intel. Apple also lost some of its value over the same period, but its decline was smaller. The smaller loss was enough to push Apple above Nvidia at the top.
