Scottie Barnes recorded a career‑high 41 points while playing for the Toronto Raptors. Despite his output, the Raptors were defeated by the Orlando Magic with a final score of 121‑114. The game marked the inaugural NBA Cup contest for both franchises. The Magic secured the win in the closing minutes. Barnes’ performance stood out in an otherwise disappointing team effort.
