Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar is encouraging students in pesantren to master science and technology. He believes this knowledge is necessary to meet modern challenges. He stated that artificial intelligence should be used as a tool. However, these technological advancements must not replace traditional Islamic scholarship or the educational values of the pesantren.
Menteri Agama, Nasaruddin Umar mendorong generasi santri menguasai ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi agar mampu menghadapi tantangan zaman. Meski demikian, kemajuan teknologi, termasuk kecerdasan buatan (AI), harus dimanfaatkan tanpa meninggalkan tradisi keilmuan Islam dan nilai-nilai pendidikan pesantren.
