Officials in Bruntál are using a mixture of bacteria to clean mud from Kobylí pond. They previously tried traditional digging and suction dredging. These older methods were too expensive for the city. The uneven bottom of the pond also makes it impossible to drain the water completely. Using bacteria is a cheaper alternative for maintaining the city center water feature.
