The prosecutor's office confirmed that the murder of Carlos Manzo was an act of revenge by the CJNG. Authorities have detained 34 people, including the intellectual author of the crime. The investigation is currently 90% complete. One of the direct participants in the attack has not yet been apprehended. Officials stated that the attack on the mayor did not have political motives.
