Fouzi Lekjaa, Minister of Economy and Finance and Public Efficiency, said Morocco’s push to host the World Cup rests on a historical accumulation and a development path that began in the late 1990s. He said that path was crowned by securing the organization of the 2030 edition. Lekjaa stressed that King Mohammed VI is leading this effort with strategic dimensions and a comprehensive development vision that goes beyond narrow calculations and political gains.
