Five years have passed since a cable car accident ended nearly ninety years of history at Ještěd. A cabin crashed on October 31, 2021, resulting in the death of the attendant. Ivan Rous, a historian from the North Bohemian Museum, has been researching the cable car's technical history. He is examining archival documents, technical drawings, and photographs. In a conversation with iDNES.cz, he explained the details he has uncovered so far.
Uplynulo přesně pět let od tragédie, která ukončila zhruba devadesátiletou historii lanovky na Ještěd. Dne 31. října 2021 se zřítila jedna z kabin a její průvodčí nehodu nepřežil. Historik Severočeského muzea Ivan Rous dlouhodobě pátrá v archivech po technické historii lanovky, probírá se technickými výkresy, dobovými dokumenty i fotografiemi.
