Minister Aguirre sent emails to a lawyer for nearly 20 years with instructions to write her court rulings. The lawyer was an external professional not affiliated with the judiciary. In these communications, the lawyer sometimes offered suggestions on how to handle the cases. One email showed the lawyer expressing doubt but noting they had drafted a rejection regardless. These documents reveal that the magistrate relied on an outside party to draft her legal decisions.
