Iran is ready to join three initiatives at the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity. These initiatives were proposed by the conference presidency. The focus areas include biodiversity monitoring and conservation support. They also target freshwater and mountain ecosystems.
Tehran, IRNA – Iran has expressed readiness to join three initiatives launched at the proposal of the presidency of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP 17), which focus on biodiversity monitoring, mountain and freshwater ecosystems, and areas supporting conservation.
