A family from Aleshki took away three domestic pets, including Karat, who went deaf from explosions and later lost his sight, leaving the question of who could take him. The couple said it was hard to believe that almost nothing remained of Aleshki. Driving through Gomel, they saw a clean and cozy place with light, gas and other amenities, which felt like another reality. They said they wanted to believe the worst was over and that Belarus welcomed them warmly and hospitably, with everyone treating them kindly.
