Huynh Xuan Van, who had been wanted and tried in absentia in the Phan Cong Khanh case, returned from Thailand to Vietnam. He arrived to present his personal version of involvement in the case. The return was made to allow him to speak directly to authorities. His appearance marks the first time he has faced questioning in the country.
