Protesters began gathering in front of the Ministry of Education. Young people and students called for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama. Representatives of the opposition and the Democratic Party were expected to join them. The Democratic Party had announced a national protest to support the students. Police were on standby as the situation remained calm.
