A man has been detained on the Azorean island of Flores over a series of deliberately set fires. Portugal's Polícia Judiciária, the criminal investigation police, confirmed the detention and detailed where the blazes began. According to the force, the fires were lit in a garage attached to a home, in a motor vehicle, and in four structures that support agricultural activities. The case is being handled by the PJ, which laid out the scope of the arson in its statement.
