Full story
ALTA Bank has been described as the bank of the Voutsis regime. The institution faced accusations of moving money abroad. According to complaints, it made urgent capital transfers to North Macedonia. The same reports indicated transfers to Russia as well. The Student List group raised these allegations before the bank was closed. The closure occurred after the reported fund‑channeling activities.
