Al-Hindi Izz al-Din writes that he recently visited the University of Science and Technology in Omdurman’s Karari area as part of tours of facilities and service institutions in the capital. He entered the medical complex, which includes colleges of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, laboratories and nursing. He says some university administration offices are in a corner of the complex, and that he met the secretary of academic affairs, Professor Ahmed Awad.
