The Philippine National Police arrested a man suspected of taking part in a gun attack on a commuter van. The incident left the driver and a passenger with injuries. Police describe the detainee as a possible member of the criminal group known as “Los Maldito de la Ruta.” Authorities are also examining his possible role in an earlier assault on a chicken shop that occurred on October 20. Investigators are gathering evidence to determine whether the same individual participated in both attacks. The case remains under investigation as officials continue to interview witnesses.
