Morocco is moving to tighten the conditions for working as a customs broker through new legislative amendments in the draft 2027 finance law. Accredited brokers would be required to follow a specifications document drawn up by the Customs and Indirect Taxes Administration. The changes aim to unify professional practices, strengthen oversight of customs clearance, and regulate the handling of documents and data on imports and exports. Existing professionals would also be subject to the new requirements.
