Leinster brought a difficult week to a close with a victory over Connacht in Galway. Head coach Leo Cullen said afterwards that he considered the matter done with now, drawing a line under the episode. A major relief for the coach came with the news that Tadhg Furlong had been cleared of foul play. Joey Carbery did his part as well, adding 20 points to his side's dominant display in the match.
