Two women, Cheryl Dixon and Kavita Deosaran, were shot and killed in a beauty salon called Soho Beauty Haven in Couva. The motive for the double murder remains unknown. Police are investigating the crime and have deployed targeted search activities. Additional patrols have been put in place in the area. Minister Roger Alexander confirmed on Friday that the investigation is continuing.
