Max Dolanský says he now understands why his parents warned him against a career in acting. He comes from a well‑known acting family, yet his parents initially tried to dissuade him. Despite their concerns, he could not ignore the appeal of theatre boards that he described as a world of its own. He also felt drawn to the film camera, which pulled him further into the profession. Choosing his own path, he eventually moved to Ostrava to continue his work. The move marked a significant step in his personal and professional development. He continues to reflect on the influence of his family background on his decisions.
