Senamhi issued a red alert for Lima and large portions of the coast due to an extreme heatwave. The agency warned that temperatures of moderate to extreme intensity will hit various regions between November 1 and November 4. Some areas may see temperatures reach 38 degrees Celsius.
El organismo advirtió que, entre el 1 y 4 de noviembre, distintas regiones serán golpeadas por temperaturas “de moderada a extrema intensidad”. Algunas zonas podrían alcanzar los 38 grados centígrados.
