Drugi večni derbi Prve lige Telemach v letošnji sezoni je pripadel nogometašem Olimpije, čeprav so si več priložnosti skozi celotno srečanje pripravili Mariborčani. Edini zadetek na tekmi je v 56. minuti dosegel Indrit Tuci. Po končani tekmi v taboru vijoličastih niso skrivali razočaranja.
