The CUT union rejected government instructions regarding the Universal Nursery. The vice president for Women and Gender Equity stated that the government made minor changes without addressing the core issue. She criticized the reduction of contributions from 0.35% to 0.3%. The union warns that this does not solve the essential problem. They argue that savings intended to protect workers during unemployment are still being used.
“El Gobierno movió una coma, pero no cambió el fondo del problema. Bajar la cotización de 0,35% a 0,3% no resuelve lo esencial: se sigue echando mano a los ahorros que protegen a las y los trabajadores cuando pierden su empleo”, sostuvo la vicepresidenta de la Mujer y Equidad de Género de la multigreamial.
