The government of Abelardo de la Espriella announced an alliance with the FBI and Europol to restore security on the border with Venezuela. This strategy includes intelligence cooperation with Ameripol and the DEA. The goal is to locate transnational networks. These agencies will work together to pursue asset laundering. They will also target the financing of drug trafficking.
