North Korean state media reported that defense research institutes conducted a weapon system test. The exercise focused on a cluster-bomb warhead designed for tactical ballistic missiles. Officials aimed to evaluate the power of the warhead and its adaptation to combat.
The test was intended to “assess adaptation to combat and power of a cluster-bomb warhead to be tipped on tactical ballistic missiles”, state media KCNA said on Saturday (Oct 31).
