Martha Stewart purchased a 63-acre estate once owned by Edsel Ford in Maine during 1997. The property was bought for less than 6 million dollars. She worked to restore the historical landscape of the area. The 12-room stone house and the original family tableware were kept. Much of the furniture and various objects from the original owners remained. Stewart also added her own personal touches to the home.
