Fire and Emergency New Zealand responded to a blaze reportedly occurring at a car scrapyard in Auckland. Black smoke was seen pouring over the city due to the fire. The agency deployed 18 fire trucks to the scene. These vehicles came from nine different stations. A total of 72 firefighters were involved in the operation.
