Sali Berisha, the leader of the Democratic Party, has proposed several fiscal changes for if his party takes power. He told social media followers that no tax, including VAT, would exceed 12.5 percent. Berisha also promised that diesel prices would be kept similar to those in neighboring countries. He mentioned changes regarding the tax on vehicle circulation.
