The public operator Renfe has introduced a new safety protocol for its train drivers. This decision follows failures in the LZB system and distrust in the security standards of Adif. Renfe has distanced itself from responsibility for accidents in Adamuz and Urda. The company stated that the infrastructure is the sole responsibility of Adif. These new internal instructions increase the level of controls for operators. The measures take effect starting today.
