The vehicle inspected was a four-year-old car with just 70,000 kilometres on the odometer, which might initially appear attractive to buyers. It was brought to a technical inspection in Spain, where specialist Pedro Bastida examined it. Bastida reported that the brake discs were in extremely poor condition. He also observed corrosion on several components of the vehicle. The expert commented on the engine, noting that it has been the subject of long-running debate among mechanics. Based on his findings, he gave the car a harsh assessment. He concluded by saying he would not accept the car even for free, stating he would never recommend it.
